At the 2024 Italian Political Science Association (SISP) Annual Conference in Trieste, Francesca Feo was invited to join a roundtable discussion on “How to Study Populism.” The session brought together leading scholars in the field, including Petra Guasti (Charles University Prague), Andrej Zaslove (Radboud University Nijmegen), and Mattia Zulianello (University of Trieste), for a lively and thought-provoking conversation.

The roundtable explored conceptual, methodological, and comparative challenges in the study of populism, as well as its evolving dynamics in contemporary politics.

Francesca contributed perspectives on the interplay between populism, gender, and political communication, emphasizing the importance of intersectional approaches in populism research.
