September 2024 | Visit from Professor Johanna Kantola

On 17–18 September 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting Professor Johanna Kantola from the Centre on European Studies at the University of Helsinki at our Department.

Professor Kantola participated in a one-day workshop organized by the SUCCESS project, where all project members presented their ongoing research. Her engaged presence and feedback made the workshop especially enriching and productive.

As part of her visit, she also delivered a presentation at the General Seminar in Politics and Government (Department of Government, University of Bergen), where she shared insights from her current book project, “Democracy and Gender in Parliamentary Politics: The Case of Political Groups in the European Parliament.”
